Why an official rock song?
Most people know of Oklahoma's country, jazz, and folk artists, but did you know that Oklahoma has a rich Rock & Roll heritage? From the days of rockabilly to modern alternative rock, Oklahomans have made significant contributions to the history and evolution of Rock & Roll. You can experience Rock & Roll in Oklahoma at the Oklahoma History Center's exhibit "Another Hot Oklahoma Night," coming Spring 2009.
